Mechanics of Writing Assistance

Students will actively engage in writing two essays at scheduled dates throughout the semester.
Prior to handing in your work, all students need to vet their work through this handy grammar/spelling app.
Grammarly.com   Download the app now on your desktop.

I strongly recommend you make use of this app in all of your college papers. It's informative, user-friendly.  It will assist you in your knowledge and use of the mechanics of writing!

Assistance from the Cazenovia College website...

The Center for Teaching and Learning is a unique facility staffed with both professional educators and students (peer tutors) who provide service to all students who need extra help in their college work.

It is not unusual for students to need assistance in maximizing their educational growth in a variety of areas during their four years at the college.

The Center for Teaching & Learning assists students in these efforts.  Make an appointment well in advance (1.5 weeks) at the Center to assist you in the writing process.

I am also happy to see drafts at a minimum of 1.5 weeks in advance of due date. Please inform me that I will be expecting your draft prior to submission.

The Center should be used throughout your career at the college to help you in the refinement and organization of your writing examples. 315.655.7296
